Summary:
This story is about a young learned boy living in the countryside far way
from Bangkok city. He graduated his master in Agriculture from the provincial
univerity. When he returned to his village, the villagers voted him to be
commune chief and look after hundred of families who are poor and farmers.
Storyline:
This young boy (called Me Pumi) has an obligation to take care everybody in
the village and he does his job very amazing. Every villagers respect him and
be proud of him.
Sadly, he felt in love a beatiful girl who she was his friend at very early
age. Yet, that girl did not remember any past memory as she moved to the
civilized, big city. One day her grandmother died and Me Pumi wrote a letter to
that young, beautful girl that all properties and money in the bank her old
mother had saved are given to her. Bangkok beautiful girl (Call Sirima) did not
notice about postmail. She was so busy with her job as an actress. She has a
boyfriend already. Everytime they come together and that boyfriend did not have
any job. He just ask money from her. He is an easygoing body; wanted to woo as
many girl as he can. He cheated on Sirima many time.
It’s almost seven day, the day to funeral old mother. Me Pumi and villagers
are waiting for Sirima to come to end the funeral day. But no hope at all.
Villagers decided to send Me Pumi to Bangkok to search for her. Me Pumi went to
Bangkok and he met Sirima but did not have chance to talk since she was so busy
with her lovers. Me Pumi was so disappointed and returned home immediately.
That day thing went strange for Sirima. She felt a little bit unhappy.
Something pushed her to see the letter. Just right after she read the text; she
packed everything and heading the village.
At the village, it was difficult for her as a city girl to live in a remote
area, no pizza, no internet, no electric and taxi or car. She hardly survives.
However, it was so lucky that Me Pumi’s family help her all the time until she
finished her old mother funeral ceremony. However, Sirima still cannot meet Me
Pumi. She did not know that Me Pumi is a young handsome guy staying next to her
always.
One day she discovered it. And she felt very frustrated. She thought
everybody play game with. Everybody cheats her. She got angry and return to
live in the big City with intention not to come back forever. But thing has
changed her so much. She began to love the green countryside. She loves
farming. She miss every nice person at the village that always help each other;
sharing everything with each other etc.
Finally, Sirima decided to come back to village and turn herself to be a
real farmer. She is doing farming everyday with the help of Mr. Me Pumi. These
two guys fall in love with each other. They got marrid, after all.
