Into the Wild is very educative movie. It tells about life of one young learned-American adult. His name is Christopher McCandless. He is one of the top student in his university. At the graduating day from Emory University, everyone was so happy with their own graduation. They do this and that to cheer their success in studying. Unlike others, Christopher McCandless did not care of party or big celebration at all. He just had a meal with his family consisting of one sister and parents. His parents want to please him for the graduation and wanted to give him a new car as a gift but Christopher rejected it. He said his old car is already good. He did not need to change it.

Plot of the movie:
At the lunch meeting Christopher McCandless told his parents he may be able to continue his study Havard school of law as his grades are quite high. Their parents was so happy with that and they are looking forward to hear from him. However, Christopher did not wait for his result. He just gave his saving which about 24,000 USD to the charity and he rather gone wild.
His parents are waiting for good result from him for almost three months but they did not receive any information about him. They then plan a visit to surprise him at his apartment. Sadly, when Christopher parents were there they got information that Christopher checked out from the apartment for almost three months already. Now nobody knows where he is living neither his very close sister.
For about five months police found an abandoned car which they can recognize that it was Mr. Christopher's car. They reported this news to his parents. But from that time on they never seen Mr. Christopher at all.
In fact, Mr. Christopher McCandless went to Alaska. He gave up everything except his basic stuffs for his life. He sometimes walk and other time ask people for a driving. Christopher finally went into the deep forest and river. Along the way, Christopher encouter many experiences. Sometime were terrible and another is memorable. He got to meet people and they are so kind to him. They gave him a sleep, foods, and even teach him many things.
As he move deeper to the wild, Christopher was struggling to live. He has to survive with bare hand. It was very cold out there in Alaska. He fortunately found one big van. He then made that van as his shelter. He lives by hunting and enjoy life like animal.
For him, it is so free. This is the first he enjoy much free world. Unlike the world he used to live where people is so materialize and so indulged by technology, Christopher found that it's not a wise choice at all. Only live himself according to nature is much more free to him.
Christopher's parent, on the other hand, is searching for him day and night. They can't sleep. They were so sad because they lost their love one especially their beloved, geniune son. They invest a lot of efforts to discover him.
At the end, Christopher's death was informed to their parents and they took an elecopter to bring body back from Alaska.
The moral of the story is material world is good but be care of its side effects. Sometimes it can reduce your freedom of thinking and performing. Only live ourselves according to the nature that is the only way to free oursleves.
