Summary of the Film:
Chow Yun-Fat's life is so wealthy and happy at first. He is one of the richest man in Hong Kong, China. He enjoyed life so much. He did not care anything, except entertaining life. He drinks, sings, dances, does exercise etc. He is so famous, a hero of many Hong Kong people. Whenever he goes, people always want to take his picture and get his signature. However, days and nights have passed Chow Yun-Fat's life gets more and more boring. He feels he is not free and he wants to be free.

Plot of the Film:
After saying goodbye to his mother and taking a yatch to his big villa, Chow Yun-Fat is increasing boring of his life as a tycoon. He wishes he could enjoy life by doing anything by himself, not everybody serving him. He proposed the idea to his personal assistance. Yet his personal assistance did not agree with his idea.
Chow Yun-Fat's personal assistance rejection even pushed Chow Yun-Fat to run away from home. Chow Yun-Fat finally told his personal assistance that do not let anybody know. He will be away from the villa, the work and the company for a while. He will become a normal people, doing normal thing. Sleeping, eating, working and performing like anybody else in local Hong Kong society.
Escaping from his big villa, Chow Yun-Fat went wanderously from place to place. He accidently ended up himself in charity event. Because he wore coat which really looks like other waiters, Chow Yun-Fat was ordered to serve the audiences by different drinks. This was where Chow Yun-Fat's life become beautiful. He was surprise that people can ask him to work. Unlike in his house, nobody dares to do that.
Chow Yun-Fat took the opportunity to work and enjoy himself in that charitable event. He started to know new people, espcially one beautiful girl. That night Chow Yun-Fat served the custormers till late night. Then restuarant where Chow Yun-Fat was working for proposed him to stay and work with them. Chow Yun-Fat agreed and the took care with them back to their house.
In the restuarant, the owner of this restuarant is so mean about his beautiful daughter. He first looks down Chow Yun-Fat and not allow Chow Yun-Fat to talk or feel love about his daughter. His daughter will be only for rich guy. However, Chow Yun-Fat did not care about that. He felts he wanted that girl and he went for it.
In the restuarant, nobody knows that Chow Yun-Fat is the richest man in Hong Kong. They treated Chow Yun-Fat like normal people and that Chow Yun-Fat really is really happy with that treatment. He acts like normal people. He is now free to do whatever he wants. He is free to choose his lover. He is free to walk, talk, eat and drink etc.
However, Chow Yun-Fat's family did not like this idea. They tried to find Chow Yun-Fat's staying. They finally knew that Chow Yun-Fat is staying in one small restuarant. And they have come to meet Chow Yun-Fat. One important is that they come to force Chow Yun-Fat to get married to one beautiful, rich girl. However, Chow Yun-Fat did not accept that proposition.
He wants to marry a girl he is working with every day. At the final scene, Chow Yun-Fat's true face has discovered. He is known by everybody as the richest man, not the poor simple guy. The owner of the restuarant quickly turn his mind. He Chow Yun-Fat marries his daughter. However, his daughter was shock and very surprise. She was quite sad that Chow Yun-Fat lied to her. She managed to run away from Chow Yun-Fat but Chow Yun-Fat is following her and explain everything. Finally, they come together.
