Summary of the movie:
Monus Jit Dach is one of the famous movie in Thailand and was translated into Khmer language since 2013. As written on its cover in this post, the story is about a unique life of an adult man in Bangkok, the capital city of the Kingdom of Thailand. His family was so poor. He has to struggle to work for just a living. Everybody around him did not give him much respect because he is a poor man. In the working place, he was looked down by boss and manger of the company. He is, in fact, a good man.
Plot of the Drama:
Mr. Tibet came from a poor family. He works for a very big, famous hotel in Thailand. The owner of the hotel is a mixture of many people. That's why it is hard to manage the whole hotel. One family consisting of one daughter and a son. These two young adults did not care much about promoting or improve the quality and popularity of the hotel. They just enjoy life and even sometime bring bad news to the hotel.
However, another family of the same grandma is quite good. They consist of one beautiful daughter and her name is Mekhala or Ms. Mot in short name. Ms. Mot is an open, kind and generous lady. She appears to care every of the staffs in the hotel. She works very seriously and respect all rights and freedoms of her fellow workers.
In the working place, Ms. Mot found out that her cousin did not work so hard and he rather spoils the staffs in the hotel. One day, as the working time goes on her cousin appear to not like Mr. Tibet's attitude. And he ordered some people to intimidate Mr. Tibet not to stay around Ms. Mekhala anymore.
Mr. Tibet was cheated and threatened few times Ms. Mekhala's cousin. He almost wanted to give up working in that hotel. However, he can't quit because his family entirely depends on his income including his nice sister who is almost graduating from unversity.
Mr. Tibet's life was bitterly lived. His biological father dead since he was young and his mother got married to another man but that was such a bad luck because that man was a drunkard and gambling person. He always takes all properties to sell for gambling. Tibet's family can stay with him, so they moved away from him and hide themselves in Bangkok city. That's why Tibet's life was so bad pity and poor.
Mr. Tibet and Ms. Mekhala started to build a good relationship with each other. Mr. Tibet knows for sure that he can't afford to love this girl because their life is big different, one is so wealthy and another is low, bottom life. However, this can't stop the connection between him and Ms. Mekhala. Until Mekhala's cousin found that Mr. Tibet is loving Ms. Mekhala, he ordered his people to threaten, destroy and kill Mr. Tibet.
Mr. Tibet was severely beaten by Mekhala's cousin. He almost died but there was one rich guy from Japan resecure him. Tibet's life change so quick from then onward. Tibet got a chance to learn everything from his new life. He becomes a strong, sharp and serious person. He was appointed to be the second top officer in his company.
After getting learned and recover everything, Tibet has got a chance to help his family. He kept all coming news about life in Bangkok, especially his sister who was raped by Mekhala's cousin. Without hesitation, Mr. Tibet has to come back to Thailand to do business at the same time to look after his family.
Tibet came to hotel where he used to work in this in different attitude. He is not anymore a poor, weak man. He is so handsome, serious and respective man. He has big responsibility to over look big business. Mr. Tibet got a chance to buy the whole share of the hotel he used to work for because the owner of the hotel was bankcrupted. Upon his godfather's order, Tibet bought the hotel and look after it.
At the end of the scence, Mr. Tibet was trying to find justice for all that used to suffer from unjust behavior and just treatement from Mekhala's cousin. Tibet finally got a good time with Ms. Mekhala after she divorced her ex-husband.
